Little Man's gettin' BIG!

We had Spencer's 2 month appt this morning. He is 12.6 lbs (75 %) and 24" (90 %). He is growing so fast! Ugh! I did learn that the boys typically take on the body characteristics from the mother's side of the family! Interesting, I did not know this. If this is the case his numbers will definantly be changing! Or he could be out of the norm (like the rest of my family...hehe)

SOOOO exciting.....Sam is officially in panties except during naps and at night time. We even went to play at the mall today and she wore them with NO accidents! Praise Jesus! This girl cracks me up.....when she decides something you will not be able to change her mind! I had nothing to do with this potty training business.....she has done it all. In fact, when it all started I would go into the bathroom and there would be tee tee in the potty. WHAT???? She would just go in there and do it by herself and not tell anyone.....crazy.....what kid does that? This is soooo her personality though. Many times I will ask her to do something and she will wait just long enough that I think she is not going to mind me and THEN do it (she just has to think that she is in charge). And YES, for those of you that are wondering if I realize that this is ME, the answer is YES! (Dad)

Also, just to let you know, we are having some problems with our internet service. I may not be able to post for a few days so don't leave me if it takes a few days to get things back up and running.

Skinned knuckles!

Here it is 6:30am and I have already been up for an hour! If I had to wake up at 5:30am pre-kids I likely would have griped about it for days! Last night was a little rough! Yesterday Sam fell on the driveway and skinned the top of her knuckles.

She has skinned her knees like a zillion times but I guess because it is on her knuckles it REALLY bothers her. She woke up at 12:45 screaming and didn't quit for about 45 minutes. UGH! Her new thing is, any time she gets hurt or is tired she says, "rock". She wants us to rock her.....apparently this chair is medicinal. Anyway, that's what she was screaming last night! Let me just tell you that compassion is not flowing freely through my bones in the middle of a night already far to short! I did not rock her......mostly because I knew it wouldn't do any good and partly because when we do something one time she thinks she has privilege. Not going to start a middle of the night rocking routine....thank you very much!

Of course this episode woke little man. I suppose saying she was screaming was an understatement. Her knew thing is to shriek and to do it so much that she ends up gagging herself! Nice! Can I just tell you that I kept asking God if he hated me. I was mulling over the days activities wondering if I had done something to seriously tick Him off! Spencer is still waking every 3-4 hours around the clock to eat. I was not exactly overflowing with joy to see his face. Thankfully the timing worked out so that I could just feed him and put him back to bed.

Totally off subject.....I use Firefox. Josh is always getting frustrated at the amount of tabs I have open. Right now there are 36 tabs open......I guess I am getting a little carried away! I must admit that this is how my house is, I leave things out so I won't forget where they are. I see something I want to look at, a coupon I want to print, etc. and I just open a new tab so that it will be right there when I go back to find it! Oh well!

Had to share some of the most recent pics of Spence. Isn't he precious!

Samara must smother (kiss) him like 20 times a day!

Oh, and the self initiated potty training is going pretty well actually. She WON'T keep a diaper on so I just have to remind her and she will go. Occasionally she will say, "diaper on." You put the diaper on her, she goes to the bathroom and takes it right back off! (frustrating!)

There is certainly no consistency to it, but so far, letting her decide is the only way it will work anyway! I refuse to do pull-ups during the day because I don't want her to think she has a choice of going on the potty or in her diaper. She has been wearing some very cute Elmo panties or just going "bottomless". We have had a couple of accidents but I am sure they were as much my fault as they were hers. I forget to ask her if she needs to go. Oops!

And a hug for you all!

It is something I try to think of only to pray about but quickly like to ignore. Thankfully I am able to do that. My mind could quickly be consumed by the "what ifs" by pondering too long on this situation.

If you have checked out my blogroll you may have noticed the name Jordan Flint. This is the name of an amazing 3 year old girl battling leukemia. I HAD to share the journal entry for today. It was heart wrenching and I know if this were me, I would like as many as possible pleading with the Lord.....

The last 2 days have been tough on me as I watched Jordan struggle emotionally. Yesterday I took her to church for the first time since Easter weekend. It was promotion Sunday and all the pre-k kids started going to Promiseland (a special worship service for the pre-k and kindergarten kids). The doctor said last week that for the next month or so she could go to 1-2 hours of group activities a day to help her get back in the social world. My heart was breaking for Jordan as she struggled with the new situation. She had not seen any of the kids in 5 months and in that time she looks totally different. On the way to church she asked me if I was going to tell the kids about her hair and port so that they would understand. She is extremely shy when placed in new situations, especially when she is uncomfortable, so she did not talk to any of the other kids.

Today, Jordan went with me to take Jadyn to day care. Laura, the most wonderful receptionist ever J, took Jordan to some of the classes to see her friends while I took Jadyn to class. From what I gathered from Jordan, she took her hat off in class and the kids asked what happened to her hair. Laura told them that Jordan had been sick and the medicine was so strong that it made her hair come out. I don’t know if the kids understood but, hopefully, one day soon they will be able to look beyond her hair and see the Jordan they knew on the inside. We are hoping that once next week’s hospital stay is over, we can continue to take her up there to play with her friends for a little bit each day. Please pray that the teachers can help the kids to understand what is going on with her. I can only imagine the fears that are also going through their minds – can I get what she has? What if my hair fell out? Etc.

Please pray for Jordan – she has been through so much physically that it is awful to see her hurt emotionally as well. I know that in time it will get better. For the next month or so, she will be able to try to connect with the other kids but then she will be out for another couple of months while going through another rough phase of treatment.

Can you imagine? Honestly, if that does not break your heart, you might consider doing some deep soul searching! Jordan's mother is a family friend.....I have known her all my life. We have never been close friends but somehow she just seems like part of our extended family! This is the first time I have EVER been touched so closely by something so tragic as this circumstance! (yes, I know I am blessed).

I cannot fathom watching my 3 year old break down emotionally after having been through
sooo much! My heart would be in shambles for an adult having to go through such, but a 3 year old? Isn't that when there are no cares? When everyone gets along? When no one sees all your imperfections? Being surrounded by adults who "get it" and hurt for you must be vastly different than being thrown into a toddler social setting. It isn't even so much as looking different than everyone else but looking different than yourself! Oh, my heart aches for this family.

Don't you know that the questions must be
spilling into heaven from these children, asking their Father, "WHY..."? I am so encouraged to see the strength the Father has given them during this time. They amaze me and even still I wonder how everything gets done. It is interesting how this amazing respect has just poured from my being for these parents who struggle alongside their children. (As if they have any other option.....and yet, it is still oozing from my soul). I suppose it is in these situations that we see true character and it is that character that brings about such a deep sense of respect!

For whatever reason, out of all the posts I have read, this touched me where no other has. I suppose it brings back thoughts of that saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." Whoever made this up was a fool.

I ask that you pray for the Flint family.....especially sweet Jordan.

Do you know anyone who wants a dog?

We are searching desperately for a good home for Foxy. Foxy is a 5 year old Toy Fox Terrier who does not particularly like young children. Samara has been torturing her ever since she was able and Foxy has finally had enough. We were hoping that it would never come to this but Foxy has gotten aggressive toward Sam and we won't put up with that. This is not Foxy's fault. She is an amazing dog! We REALLY need to get her out of this house but we do NOT want to take her to a will break my heart to give her up.....knowing that she was in a shelter would kill me. If you know ANYONE who doesn't have small children that would love a great dog, please pass the word along! Things get worse every day so the sooner the better. Samara is going to be SOOOO sad. This is going to be soooo hard!

Spinning Sami!

Just had to show you what a goof she is! The girl makes me laugh!

It was 5 years ago today that Josh and I vowed to spend the rest of our lives together. I wanted to revisit those years with J-Dub and thought you might enjoy tagging along

For this reason a man will leave his Father & Mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
~Genesis 2: 24

(Not that either of us had much leaving to do.....or so we thought. We have always been pretty independent (aka. rebellious) so we didn't think we would have to much to leave behind. I suppose God knew what he was talking about when he put this verse in the Bible.)

Aren't we cute! (I just had to add this)

And I had to add this one just to remind us of what we once looked like! (I am pretty certain I didn't have to suck my stomach in for this one!)

As I was thinking over the past five years and ran across these pictures of our honeymoon I was struck by the thought that our honeymoon seems to be a foreshadowing of our marriage. The picture on the left is of Cabo San Lucas when we arrived.....during a tropical storm. The picture on the right is a few days into our honeymoon after the storm had passed and things were absolutely gorgeous!

Our marriage seemed to start with a storm! I feel like God has dealt us a difficult hand but just as we were the only ones not running from the storm in Cabo.....we have stood strong, stuck it out and God has blessed us. I know that things will only get more and more beautiful. I thank you for all of the hard work you have put into our marriage. You have an amazing love for your family and we are blessed!

In 2003 we found out we got pregnant on the honeymoon, we also found out that we had a miscarriage, we got a dog to help with the pain, I had a long lost friend return to my life and accept Christ and I moved job locations.

In 2004 we moved to Mom & Dad's while they were living out of town, we took a trip to D.C., you lost your job, you got a new job, we bought a truck, and our niece was born!

In 2005 we bought our first house, we had a friend live with us while going through a divorce, my best friend moved to Alabama, you got a new job, Joey & Melissa got married and we took a trip to Puerta Aventuras!

I put this particular picture here because we chose this house for the wonderful backyard.

And this is our trip to Puerta Aventuras!

In 2006 we started going to NRHBC, watched my best friend divorce, Matt & Kacey got married, we had to get rid of Psycho (our cat), Samara was born, and our nephew was born.

In 2007 I quit Mardel, I started keeping Samuel and another nephew was born.

Samara & Samuel

In 2008 you started a new position at work, I spent a week in the hospital, Spencer was born and we will have another niece and nephew before the year is over!

It has been a wild ride! I feel so blessed to have all that I have and I am so thankful for a wonderful husband who knows how to make me feel like a queen! Thank you for working so hard and allowing me to stay home with the kiddos! God knew what he was doing when he put us together and I am so grateful for the ways that he has and is using you to refine me! You are an AMAZING Father and it is a joy to watch you love on our children!

I love you with all my heart!

Sam & Daddy
Not too much new happening around here! Josh didn't leave town until Wednesday morning so my week has been all messed up! I was planning on going to a consignment sale last night but Little Man was having a rough day so I went this morning. I got winter clothes for Sam, Halloween costumes and a few things for Spence. The deals are AMAZING! Here are pics of my loot......

This is what I got for $60 (WOO HOO):

Eating An Elephant Whole

I am in the midst of a Bible Study on personal revival. It is a wonderful, yet terribly convicting study.

What I have come to realize through this study is a common denominator in many of my struggles. It seems that the areas in which I struggle most, I always feel overwhelmed. This feeling inevitably masters me and I quickly shut down, making it almost impossible to find victory in the situation.

I get this way in my walk with the Lord, with cleaning my house and with disciplining my children (just to name a few). It seems that there is sooo much to work on and sooo many ways to go about doing it. I am admittedly a perfectionist(though you might not "see" it outwardly) so I don't want to do things the "wrong" way. This means I end up wanting to explore every option, yet not implement anything until I am sure it is the best way. If you have been into a bookstore lately you have likely run across the almost unending sources available on these subjects. This creates an enormous problem for me. I end up feeling as if change is hopeless because there is more to do than I could ever find time for and end up giving up altogether.

I did end up finding a book that was incredibly insightful and has proven to be a wealth of information, not only for the subject it is written on, but also for many other aspects of my life. The book is The Messies Manual.....I know, a funny title, huh...Josh laughs at me when I read it! This is one of those books that you don't take out to read in public because you fear it reveals far more about yourself than you want people to know. Regardless, I took away something from this book that has been vital to accomplishing many different tasks in my life. Are you ready for it? Drum roll please........

Do things in bite sized chunks. Take things one step at a time. Like the saying goes; What's the best way to eat an elephant? One bite at a time! This should be my life motto! It just never occurred to me that I could clean out the fridge one shelf at a time until it got done! But, if I do that, the fridge will never be completely clean......This is pretty silly thinking when you realize the alternative is to have an absolutely grotesque fridge because you never have the time to clean the whole thing at once. It's like trying to eat that elephant's never going to happen! This is my life story.

Banana Bread

Lately I have been in the mood to cook. I also have been getting tired of feeding Sam the same old thing every stinkin' morning! Sooo, I found this recipe for banana bread. Let me explain to you that I had no clue what I was doing. For example.....the recipe called for a loaf pan....funny enough, I wasn't sure I had a loaf pan and once I found it, I wasn't sure if they were all a standard size or what. It ended up working out....thank goodness!

I thought I would share the easiest recipe that is quite tasty and CHEAP. Cheap is good!

Quick and Easy Banana Bread
Makes 1 loaf

Make ahead and freeze or refrigerate to use later for
breakfasts. Slices of this bread also make a great afternoon snack!

2 tsp. butter
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ cup oil
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4 ripe bananas, mashed
½ tsp. vanilla extract
3 Tbsp. milk
Confectioner’s sugar (for dusting)

Preheat oven to 350°. Stir flour, soda, baking powder, and salt together. Set aside. Combine
oil and sugar in a large bowl. Beat in eggs, banana, vanilla, and milk. Add flour mixture and
blend until just combined. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake until toothpick inserted into
the center comes out dry – about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes and
transfer to wire rack. Wrap with plastic wrap and/or foil and refrigerate or freeze. May dust
with confectioner’s sugar before serving.

I didn't even add the powdered sugar and it was still fantastic and Sam loved it!

Daddy Day!

Well, I haven't updated in a few days....sorry! So, we got to go play at the mall with Dawn and Connor again this week! They have so much fun together! Here you can see them hugging! Isn't that so sweet? I kid with Dawn that Connor is already on the "ok to date" list!

Daddy came home last night which is a big treat because he doesn't usually make it home until Friday afternoon/evening! We got all day to play today! This morning it was raining so we took the kids outside and let Samie play in the rain. She was having fun splashing in the mud!

Also, this week I got Samara's table and chairs down from the attic. We took them after Taylor outgrew them and Sam was SOOOO excited to have her own table in the kitchen. She was so funny....she just kept going in there and sitting at the table. She eats there and draws there and plays cute! In the picture you can see her eating syrup.....yes, you read that right! (thus the shirt being covered) The girl was so funny.....I gave her french toast with maple syrup and she just kept scooping the syrup with her hand and eating it all by itself.....I had to make her eat the toast! Maybe next time I will put the syrup on the toast rather than let her dip it herself!

And I just had to add this last picture of my little man lookin' like Elvis!

Silly Kids!

Yesterday was a ton of fun! We went over to my brother's house and the kids got to play! My nephew absolutely adores the little ones so of course he was in heaven!

As you can see, the Mullins family is a little strange! Welcome to the freak show! You can also see from the expression on Sam's face that she was not all that excited to have darts stuck to her forehead!

That wasn't the end of the sister-in-law had to get in on it and stuck a dart to poor defenseless Spence's head!

Karen and I were trying to get some work done so we kept sending the kids to play when they came back in. Karen suggested they play dress-up. Sam couldn't have been happier......

Can you tell? Oh well, we tried. She did look cute though!

Not much else to report......Mom & Dad are in Canada this week for their 40th wedding anniversary so we won't be going over there this week.

My stomach is churning!

I think I might throw up right now......I am so disgusted and angry! I think this would qualify as righteous anger!

On Sunday my Bible Study leader ended his teaching expressing a broken heart over the moral decline of our nation. His specific example was of abortion. I have gone off and on with this subject since becoming a Christian 7 years ago. I will get so shaken up and overwhelmed while researching the subject that I give up on it. It would seem like a lost cause. I was inspired once again to do my part with this vicious epidemic. Something has to be done!

I HATE PLANNED PARENTHOOD! And that hate is a righteous hate also. These people desperatetly need the Lord. They are lost, confused and I believe, hurting as well. Broken people harden their hearts and turn as far from good as they can so that they don't have to face the pain that truth would bring about in their lives.

Do you know that Planned Parenthood has a website called You ought to check it out. I could go on and on about the contents of the site but that would be a whole post if not a whole other blog! If you cannot figure out why I might be saying there is something wrong with this have fallen for their ploy.....much as millions of other Americans have.

More to come......

Good Times!

Soooo, I am vowing now to NEVER stay at the house all day again! Samara has been wonderful all week....until today! This also happened to be the only day that we didn't go anywhere.....not to mention that we can't even go outside right now for fear of melting!

I am so excited to say that Sam has been awesome this week! We have had sooo much fun....I had kinda forgotten how much fun we once had together! It is as if she just flipped a switch. I am even able to leave the baby for more than 10 seconds without worrying that Samara might try to kill him! She finally came up and sat with me for a long time while I was nursing and it has been since he was born that she has done this. She made it very clear that she didn't want any part of that and would just sit by herself! I am so relieved by this change! Thank you Jesus! She has really seemed to enjoy Spence this week....she likes to help me with him, play with him and overall, just take care of him. She is ALWAYS giving him his paci when he drops it (even when he doesn't want it)! The other night she enjoyed bathing him!

And this picture cracks me up.....I put him in his crib with his activity gym and went to do some housework. When I went back in there to check on him, his big sister had so graciously found a box of toys and was giving him stuff to play with! It was so sweet but as you can see, she got a little carried away!

We did have an active week....which was fun for both of us.....I too like to get out of the house everyday. Tuesday we went to Toddler Time at the is the 2nd time we have gone! She isn't that interested in the books that are being read.... more interested in checking out what everyone else is doing and playing, but you know.....maybe it will grow on her. There are actually quite a few people who show up. We stuck around for a little while after the stories and I let her play in the little toddler area. We met several people and there were a ton of kids right around her age so she enjoyed that just as much as the story time. Funny....there were also 3 infants born within days of Spence so I had plenty to talk about with the other ladies!

Wednesday we went to the mall and met Dawn and Connor. Sam and Connor are so stinkin' cute together! For those who don't know, they are 6 weeks apart and have been playmates since birth! They are truly is soooo cute! They had a ton of fun together!

Yesterday I had my 6 week girlie Sam and Spence went to Mom's and played with Bay and Lyssa. I know I have mentioned this before but Sam and Bay are so cute....just can't get enough of each other.....they just kiss all the time. Like I told Mom, that will have to end soon....but it is cute for now!

Here is my little copycat (if you don't know what she is doing, I'm not telling)

And this is a picture of Spencer in the outfit that Josh came home from the hospital in! His Mom kept it and gave it to us when Spence was born! (he kinda looks like a bobble-head doll in this picture, doesn't he?) I keep forgetting to put him in it and take pictures....I finally remembered today and I'm glad I did because it was almost too small!

Ever Changing!

So, you must be getting tired of the ever changing setting around here! Just want to keep it interesting! No, not really....I am testing out my skilz! I made this blog outfit all by my lonesome! I don't LOVE it but I am pretty stinkin' proud of myself! I am sure you will see many more to come so just hold on for the ride!

Toddler Town!

I tried posting yesterday but apparently Blogger was having some problems. Anyway, yesterday was actually a great day! Samara was well behaved, even amongst her crazy toddler antics. She is a trip.....she keeps me on my toes and most of the time has me laughing. If you don't know her personality, she is a funny kid! She likes to make people laugh and she does a darn good job! She is always getting into something and I nothing ever seems too surprising anymore!

She came bouncing into the living room yesterday looking like this:

Do you see that streak in her hair? Yes, that would be a big clump of bar soap. For some reason she has this thing with getting into our shower and messing with all of our things. Apparently she thought her hair needed a good washin'!

And here she is after I walked away from my PB&J for just a moment! There was no hiding this you can see, it is on her hands, face, leg and yes, even the couch! Between her and the dog I have to watch my food like a hawk.....and, yes, I do feed my child, she just likes whatever is not hers!

I must say that your prayers are obviously not abundant enough on this subject. Here she is peeking around the corner like, "what is that, mom?" As if she didn't know! The girl went behind the chair and hid to do her business! What a little punk!

She got some one on one time with Spence and LOVED it! She was so excited that she was getting to "hold" him! I think this may have had something to do with her cooperative mood yesterday! Maybe I will start the day off like this everyday!

Oh, and I just had to share this one. Even though she was enjoying herself, she had to sneak one in there.....she couldn't be nice the WHOLE time!

And here is my little comedian. She wanted me to take pictures of her and as I did, she started making funny faces. Then, it wasn't enough for her to be making faces, she wanted us to join in AND take pics of them. And so we did! (she also wanted Spencer & Foxy to join in but I explained to her the unlikelihood of that happening)

And here is my hubby! Isn't he handsome?.....I just think this picture is too cute!

And here is my little booger, after somehow freeing an arm from his straight jacket! Does that mean he doesn't like it if he worked that hard to get out of it? Hmmm. He seems to sleep better while tied down so I think I will stick with it for a little while longer!

And that, my friends, is a small sampling of a day in the life of the Martin household.

Just some precious pics of the little man.....he is really fattening up!

Oh My! I had NO idea. I was introduced to Facebook by my Sunday School friends. I honestly thought it was for high school kids! What a great way to keep in touch with people. I spent WAY too much time checkin' out all my old (and current) friends last night and am entirely too tired. Actually the ironic thing about it all is that I know I am going to end up communicating more with people I see every week than anyone else. Silly, but the phone is my enemy! Hopefully now I can actually follow through with contacting friends! Yowser, what has this world come to?

I also just signed up on PaperBackSwap. I am a book junkie, and was even more so when working at Mardel because I was privy to all the GREAT deals! Anyhow, I just went through two of the umpteen billion shelves of books I have and have already posted 26 books. I also already have 2 requests from the ones I have listed. Next to the library, this is the best deal I have ever seen on books! You pay the shipping when you send one out (and get a credit for it) and then when you find one you want, they pay the shipping to send it to you (and take a credit)! Sooo, about $2 a book! The other great thing about this (as opposed to Half Price Books) is that you aren't at the mercy of one individual trying to decide if anyone is going to want that particular book or not. You post what you have and if someone likes it, they request it.

I am very excited......I finally got a new phone today. Our contract FINALLY ended with Sprint and we dropped them like a hot potato....they are ridiculous.....every little change renewed our contract for 2 years.....getting a new phone, adding texting, changing ANYTHING! It was so frustrating. We decided to go with Verizon because Consumer Reports said they had the best customer satisfaction (and because the commercials are great, of course) so I will let you know if I run into any problems with them.

Spencer slept 6 hours straight last night....WOOHOO....that's a record that he will hopefully beat tonight ; ) Samara was sleeping 8-10 hours a night by this time.....she has always been a great sleeper but I also fed her formula. Whoever says that doesn't matter is WRONG! This kid is so erratic and eats soooo often. Last night was the first night I swaddled him so maybe that was the trick.

So, Sam has this disgusting new habit. She has a) figured out how to take off her own diaper and b) decided she doesn't like to have a wet or dirty diaper on. This makes for a real mess when she is dirty! The other day she was running around without a diaper on; I was in the kitchen and heard her yelling for me and saying, "uh-oh"....that's never good because she ALWAYS knows when something is an uh-oh and when it is not. I ran in there (the hall) to find her standing there with a small bit of poop on the floor and her hand and leg covered in poo and of course it was smeared all over her bum!!!! GROSSS!

no, that is not chocolate on her leg

I was so irritated with her and told her that if she wasn't going to wear a diaper she HAD to go to the big girl potty. After I had cleaned up the mess and went to go flush the wipes down the toilet I realized what an idiot I was. She HAD pooped in the potty! I guess she was trying to wipe herself (minus the toilet paper)! She did this all by herself.....I didn't prompt it all! (I could insert a picture of the poop in the potty right here, but I will spare you) Unfortunately history has not repeated itself!

BUT, last night after I put her to bed I went to check on her (like I do every night after she has fallen to sleep). Well, I was in for a big surprise. Her door was not shut (clue #1 that things weren't right) and when I went to shut it I was stopped by something on the floor.....a diaper....and not just any diaper, it was a DIRTY diaper. At this point, I realize that Sam is lying in bed with poo all over booty (as she calls it) and very likely peeing all over the sheets! WOW, what a great parent I am! I went to survey the damage and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of an absolute disaster. She did have dried poo on her booty so getting that off and getting a diaper on obviously woke her, which I wanted so bad to avoid, but all in all that was the worst of it.

Anyway......we are battling this new habit, praying she will just get on with it and do her duty in the potty! You can be praying alongside of us, if for no other reason than to avoid reading anymore disgusting stories about poop!

Oh yes, and I have to mention.....I am going all domestic on ya! I am going to be a real June Cleaver before you know it. Today I made a loaf of bread in my bread maker. It wasn't bad actually and I think it turned out quite purty! I am proud of my loaf.....check it out!

I also used a pressure cooker for the first time ever (I didn't even know they existed until a couple of weeks ago). And just in case you are as ignorant as I am about kitchen stuff, a pressure cooker cooks things super fast!
