My Prison Walls Have Fallen! & Summer Movies

34 weeks yesterday- I had a doctor's appt today (even though I went up there yesterday thinking it was then).

I am dialated to a 2.

She is taking me off the Procardia (curbs the contractions) in a week, at which time she is also lifting any restrictions on my activity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo excited about this but am nervous about getting back into the routine; especially since I am so weak from being on bedrest. I actually had a semi-"normal" day yesterday and I was SOOO tired at the end of the day!

ALSO, please pray that the baby comes while Josh is in town. He travels every week but the week of June 16-21 he will be in Connecticut and there is a very good chance that if I were to go into labor while he is there; he would very likely NOT be able to make it home before I delivered.

I am so excited that I just might be able to take Sam to the zoo before the baby arrives. I haven't been able to take her yet and was SOO bummed that I wasn't going to get to before the baby came. YEAH!

Earthquake, CVS, & Photo-A-Day

First and foremost I want to ask everyone to pray for those affected in the China earthquake. I was overwhelmed when I found out that I was right in the midst of where the quake took place just 4 years ago teaching English!!! I have lost touch with my students so I am praying for their safety! I will likely never know the outcome but I am certain that God will! Thankfully I was able to share about the Lord with many of them!

Just wanted to share my exciting CVS trip today. For those of you who don't know, I am a professed CVS addict. I LOVE getting a good deal and there is nowhere better to get just that.

I know you probably think there is some trick.....it's just alot of planning, coupons and searching for deals! It has really become a game! There is a whole world out there of CVS freaks!

I wish I had started this Jan 1 but I know if I wait until next January I will have long forgotten about this idea and I think it is so great. I am going to take 1 picture a day for a whole year. I got the idea from a photography blog out there but I think it is such a fantastic idea. I am ALWAYS forgetting everything and I thought this would at least help me to remember SOME of what happened over the course of the past year! I don't think there could be a better time to start this chronicle with my little Spenc on the way! Hopefully I will find the self discipline to actually make it happen! Would love for you to join me in this adventure!

The Latest

Not much going on as of late.....thus the decline in posts! I have likely lost the majority of my readers but for those of you awaiting an update......here I am!

I have felt great the past few weeks. It is increasingly difficult to continue to be on "light activity." I think each day I end up doing a little more. I still have yet to go grocery shopping or anything that extensive. Josh and I had a work dinner to attend on Friday night so I did make a short trip to Old Navy to find a shirt that would actually fit. I thought it would be fun but I was in some pain and couldn't fully enjoy it!

Mother's Day was wonderful! Josh and Samara got me an awesome watch and some beautiful flowers. I thought that was all but he came home today with a gift certificate for a pedicure! WOW! I am spoiled! Here is the watch:

I had a terrific weekend.....I was able to spend time with family that I don't get to see very often so that is always a blessing. My brother, SIL and niece were in town as well as my grandfather out of the nursing home long enough to be at Mom's for the get-together! We had a great time and I spent WAY too much time on my feet! I have been feeling pretty good after the busy weekend so I am thankful that the Lord has been watching over me!

I honestly don't have much to share. I am having fun learning more and more on Photoshop.....I think I might be addicted! I made a new signature after learning how to do animation, so that was fun......

It's not GREAT but it was fun to make!

I wish I could think of something else to tell you but things have been pretty boring around here! I have been going to the OB every 2 weeks, as normal, and things have been looking good! Thanks for all of your prayers!
